When you 'checkout', the total price is calculated
by adding the total product price, the shipping
cost and a small handling fee.
- Product total: this is the total of the
product(s) you have in put your cart.
- Handling: a small amount (€ 2.00)
added to the shipping costs to cover all extra costs like:
the packaging, fees for electronic online payments, and
so on. I hope you understand this 'handling' is NOT a sneaky
way to gain some extra income.
- Shipping: This is the shipping price,
calculated from the weight of the package and the location
it has to be shipped to. Dutch postal service (TPGPost)
has three different price zones:
- Nederland
- Europe
- Rest of the World
When sending to a location OUTSIDE the Netherlands, you have
the option to choose between sending as 'Standard'
or 'Priority' mail. Priority mail is said to arrive
in about half the time, but is more expensive, especially
in larger weights.
Please NOTE: when the total amount
is more than € 30,
international shipping will automatically include
shipping with insurance (=worldpack basic, priority
+ insurance).
Your items will be shipped as soon as I have received your
payment. I will confirm shipment via mail.
At this moment there are two ways of paying for your
items:
- using PayPal
- using (International) Bank/Giro Transfer
or Cash Money via mail (NO International
Money Order!)
Both will be discussed below.
PLEASE NOTE:
I CAN NOT ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS. PLEASE DO NOT
USE THIS PAYMENT METHODS FOR PAYING FOR YOUR ITEMS. I WILL
RETURN YOUR CHEQUE BY MAIL AND CANCEL THE TRANSACTION!
PAYPAL
I strongly advice using Paypal for international
online transactions. The Paypal service is very fast, effective,
and very reliable.
It is a service set up for use with the big online auction
sites (like Ebay), and these services are used by millions
people worldwide (!). Using PayPal you can make a fast payment,
which usually results in fast shipping of your items.
Of course there also are other payment methods that can
be used..., but usually these are more complex and often also
more expensive. Recently, I had some unpleasant experience
using international money orders - took a very long time to
complete, also a very high fee had to be paid.
So - if you plan to do some online shopping (especially
on Ebay), register with Paypal! Registering for a personal
account is free. Making Paypal payments is free of charge
for the buyer.

OTHER PAYMENT OPTIONS
If you do not want to use PayPal, you can choose
the option '(International) Bank/Giro Transfer, or
send CASH' when checking out. This option gives you
the opportunity to pay in two other ways: using International
Bank/Giro transfer or sending cash money.
- International Giro Transfer
If you live in the EU, you can make a payment without fees. Outside the EU, there are fees involved: be sure to make the payment 'our cost' (= yours)
More information and bank details for this payment can be found HERE.
- Sending Cash Money
If you choose to send me cash money, please realise
this is not without risk, and the risk is totally yours!
Send the money in a firm envelope, and make sure it is not
visible from the outside.
Send it as registered mail.
REMEMBER: There is no financial transaction
started when you check out using these payment options.
Your
items are put 'on hold' (disappear from the shop) and cannot
be sold to another buyer.
We can arrange the final payment
and shipping details via e-mail. |
