Although she pops up in some sampler sets, her music has yet to be fully reissued domestically in CDs. This LP from the British Charly label has 16 highlights from Lee's career and duplicates only two songs from an earlier Pausa LP. Lee's basic but effective vocals and good piano playing are matched on ten different sessions with a variety of top players, including trumpeters Ernie Royal, Bobby Sherwood, and Red Nichols, trombonist Vic Dickenson, altoist Benny Carter, Dave Cavanaugh on tenor, guitarist Jim "Daddy" Walker, and many others. Among the more memorable selections are Lee's unaccompanied version of "Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out," "Tell Me Daddy," "Lotus Blossom," "It Comes In Like a Lion," "and "You Ain't Got It No More."
